All Avast for Business Basic Antivirus users need to upgrade by October 31, 2018.

Our latest update in business security is a major one — we are phasing out Avast for Business Basic Antivirus and Endpoint Protection/Premium products.
As of October 31, 2018, Avast will no longer provide license renewals, sales support, product development, technical support, or virus signature updates for these products. Our Basic Antivirus customers will be automatically upgraded to Avast Business Antivirus with a 30 day free trial. Customers will receive virus signature updates from their new Avast Business Antivirus product during the trial period and after the expiration of the trial.
Customers using our paid Avast for Business Premium product with a yearly subscription are eligible for a free upgrade. All others are eligible for a substantial savings of up to 50%.

How to Upgrade
To see your upgrade offer, log in to your Avast for Business Cloud Management console and click Upgrade in the top menu.
Pay-as-you-go customers
- Look over the software suites and any applicable discounts you may have.
- Copy your coupon code, if you have one.
- Pick the product you wish to upgrade to by clicking the Buy Now button.
- You will be taken to the Avast shopping cart where you can enter your coupon code and purchase your selected product. (This will open in a separate tab)
- You will be provided with a new license number after your transaction has been completed.
- Go back to the Licenses section in your Avast for Business Management Console.
- Click on Activate, paste in your new Avast license number, and confirm.
- You will be automatically upgraded to our new Avast Business Management Console along with all of your devices. This upgrade is silent and no action is required from your users.
Pre-paid customers
- In September 2018, we will send you an email with dates informing you when the automatic migration to Avast Business products will occur.
- During the proposed migration date range, you and all devices under your management will be automatically upgraded to our new Avast Business Management Console. No action is required from your users.
