Avast Business Antivirus recognized for strongest protection against real-world threats to Windows 10 systems.
Looking for strong endpoint protection for Windows 10 environments? Avast Business Antivirus just scored 100% again in the latest January and February test by AV-TEST. The independent IT-security institute recently shared its scores across 16 leading endpoint security products for Windows 10 systems, evaluating products on protection, performance, and usability. Along with a perfect score in protection, Avast Business Antivirus also scored well in the other two categories.
During a two-month period, AV-TEST continually evaluated Avast Business Antivirus and other vendors’ solutions with a focus on making the test as realistic as possible and challenging each solution against real-world threats. Each product had to demonstrate its capabilities using all components and protection layers.

Here’s a look at our AV-TEST results:
Protection
In the protection test against real-world threats, including malware infections such as viruses, worms, or Trojan horses and zero-day malware attacks, Avast Business Antivirus detected and blocked 100% of AV-Test’s 228 samples. An additional 4,877 malware samples, discovered four weeks before the results were shared, were introduced in the test and again, Avast Business detected 100%. For the protection category, Avast Business Antivirus scored a 6 out of 6.
Performance
To test performance, our software was evaluated for its impact on computer speed and every day actions, such as launching websites and apps, downloading and installing software, and copying files. This was conducted on both a standard PC and a high-performance PC. Avast Business Antivirus scored high again with a 5.5 out of 6.
Usability
To test usability, which can be defined here as how easy or intuitive the software is, AV-TEST looks for false warnings or blockages when visiting websites, false detections and warnings on legitimate software, and false blockages of actions when using legitimate software. Out of over 1.5 million samples used, Avast Business Antivirus only had 3 false positives, earning a score of 5.5 out of 6.
