Cybersecurity skills series gets two thumbs up from attendees: UK date just added

Erik Preisser 1 Nov 2018

New speakers, demo, and insight on tap for Orlando, Horgen & Manchester venues

After hosting our Cybersecurity Essentials Master Course in our first two cities, feedback and appreciation have been strong. In fact, so positive that we’ve added a last tour date in Manchester, UK with new speakers.  There is also still time to register for our remaining November events in Orlando, Florida, and Horgen, Switzerland.

Channel partners and MSPs attending our UK and Germany events rated the unique venues and rich content highest among the benefits.  Attendees had a chance to hear new channel and security trends data from CompTIA’s Ian Trump, learn about new endpoint protection features and multi-layered security strategies from our Avast Business team, as well as take part in a roundtable focused on channel best practices.

We always appreciate feedback and attendees weren’t shy.  Overall, attendees found the events well planned and the content valuable. A few partners shared that the industry trend information and threat data were particularly helpful – and asked that we provide much more data at future events. Our product demos received high marks as well for offering a good look at new features and functionality. The event was open to our existing partners and other industry players. In the end, the popular vote may go to our roundtable sessions as attendees noted this was a valuable opportunity to participate in peer-to-peer conversations and debates.

We have noted the positive praise (thank you!) and already have an action plan in place that captures suggestions for new content and enhancements (extended time for roundtables).  Please keep the feedback coming.

As we head into November, our first US event is next week in Orlando. Please sign up at the link below.  And if you missed our Maidenhead, UK event, please take advantage of the opportunity to catch up with us in Manchester on November 29.
