Independent lab awards Avast top scores on protection, performance, usability, and features.
A quick Google search for “business security products” will produce an unwieldy number of results. How is a company to choose?
Luckily, reputable independent testing labs – like AV-TEST – are hard at work conducting rigorous ongoing tests on security products to provide buyers with information they need to choose solutions that are proven to work.
As such, we are happy to report that the latest AV-TEST Product Review and Certification Report, focused on business antivirus solutions, gives Avast Business high marks and the Top Product label, as compared to endpoint protection products from 17 other security vendors.
Avast Business Antivirus Pro Plus received a 100% score in protection against zero-day malware attacks from 275 samples, inclusive of web and email threats. We also scored 100% in the detection of widespread and prevalent malware, discovered in the last four weeks of testing using 19,747 samples. The test ran from July through August 2018.
As an independent lab focused on IT security testing, AV-TEST guarantees quality assurance and accurate comparisons from testing all internationally relevant IT security products. The Institute boasts one of the largest collections of digital malware samples in the world, ensuring that its product tests are state-of-the-art and uninfluenced by third parties.
Security products tested are expected to protect against real threats. They are evaluated on their ability to fend off the latest attacks launched by cybercriminals, including zero-day malware, drive-by attacks, downloads from websites, attacks via infected emails, and more.
We are proud that Avast Business products continue to earn high rankings across multiple independent tests. It’s always rewarding to see that our software continues to protect customers against the latest threats.
