We are excited to announce the winners of Avast’s #LoveYourInternet giveaway. Eilish K. from London, England and Ryan B. from Maryland, USA, won a new Google Pixel phone for sharing why they love the Internet.
The Internet makes our lives so much easier and more fun; we shop online, stream our favorite tunes, play online games, and with the convenience of online banking we always know the state of our bank account! These are just some of the reasons to “Love Your Internet.”
Since Avast is all about protecting the things you love online, we asked our Facebook fans to share what they love and use the hashtag #LoveYourInternet for a chance to win a Google Pixel phone. From all the entries that came in, the Avast social media team choose their favorites – Eilish and Ryan. But it wasn’t easy! There were so many great entries.
With post-holiday bills rolling in, now is the time to try online banking if you haven't already. Eilish and Ryan expressed why they find it so useful.
Eilish wrote: "I'd be lost without online banking! There aren't enough hours in the day anymore so being able to pay bills and transfer money without heading to the bank is super handy! My favourite way to use it is to monitor my spending and see where savings can be made. I can't get my bank's app on my phone because it's not compatible, so a Google pixel would change my life!

Ryan shared his favorite way to use online banking: "For me, the mobile apps are convenient for times when you need to check something very quickly (i.e. your available balance) while you're out and about. For more detailed work, I'll sit at my computer to make sure I'm not missing anything. The level of detail provided through both methods helps me to make sure that I know exactly where my financials stand in real time."
